I’ve been looking into the latest tools for plant propagation as we prepare for the spring season. It seems like the demand for certain varieties is shifting, and I want to ensure we’re ready. Has anyone tried out any new propagation trays or heating mats that have worked well for you? I’m particularly interested in how they might affect rooting success rates.
I’ve had great success using heated propagation trays, especially during the cooler months. They really boost the rooting process — just make sure to monitor moisture levels closely to avoid damping off. Have you considered using a humidity dome as well?
I’ve used humidity domes along with my heating mats, and they really help maintain moisture levels for better rooting. @grace_l89, have you found them useful as well? It might be worth a try if you haven’t.
I find that using a heat mat regularly gives those little roots a warm hug, but don’t forget that ventilation is key too! @jgarcia57, have you noticed any differences when you let the trays breathe a bit more?
