Lowering pressure to stop misting

I’ve been retrofitting spray zones with pressure-regulated heads and dropping setpoint to 30 PSI; on a 12-zone HOA last month we cut flow about 14% and bumped DU from 0.56 to 0.68 — has anyone pushed lower or paired this with short-cycle runtimes to reduce runoff further?

At ‘30 PSI’, try 3x4-minute cycle-soak on slopes; verify nozzle minimum before dipping to 25 PSI?

On slopes, I’ve had better luck swapping to low‑angle PRS nozzles and check‑valve stems before pushing below ‘30 PSI’; it cut splash and initial runoff more than extra cycles, then I add a 1‑min pre‑wet before the main soak. @glenford34 what soil are you on — if it’s clay, aim PR at or below 0.3 in/hr or downsize a couple nozzles.
